I have an appointment this week with a personal trainer. Feel like a celebrity!
I joined a gym last week, and it's working out well so far. It's a block and a half down the street, and I've gone three times in five days! Am trying to ignore the fact that because I'm blogging right now, I probably won't be able to go today as I had planned. My blog needs excercise, too -- it's been two weeks since its last workout.
When you join the gym, they offer one free hour with a personal trainer. The guy who called to make the appointment sounds very nice and not at all like he'll mock my inability to do more than 12 girl push-ups.
The gym is $$$ a month, but I caved last week after a miserable jog in this D.C. humidity. Plus, there's the ol' 10-year high school reunion looming in eight weeks. Need to turn self into Jessica Alba or similar.
OK, if I leave for the gym RIGHT NOW, I'll have time for a decent spin on the stationary bike before work. And ... go!

Paul's doing something similar for his 10-year reunion, said he was gonna get to the gym and get cracking on his novel.
I, on the other hand, plan to WHALE UP for his class reunion. :)
