Met with the personal trainer today and almost passed out. I'm not kidding. Vision went blurry then black, hearing faded, could barely breathe, wanted to hurl but didn't have the strength to. I actually hoped I would pass out so the pain would end. The trainer said my lips turned the color of the rest of my face. Ew. I was incapacitated for at least 10 minutes. And this was after, oh, about 15 minutes of working out.
God, I'm lame. The trainer was cool, said it was normal for folks not used to intense exercise. Something to do with a hormone. He explained it to me twice, but I was more focused on trying not to die. A sample of what he had me do: 15 pushups, eight more (was supposed to be 15), 10 reverse pushups (kinda like pull-ups), then more regular pushups, then back to the reverse pushups, at which point I was about to cry. This was after three series of leg exercises that kicked my ass.
So we scrapped this session and rescheduled for the same time next week. *whimper* He promised to go easier on me and suggested I eat a mango before coming, instead of cereal. Mmm ... mango.

Tell me about it, sis. Lifting is waaaaay different from cardio. I think paying uber dollars for the gym will motivate you to get your money's worth. It's pretty freakin' hot here lately too. San Fran is getting close!
